I started my journey in Data Science in 2022. I saw the changing world the potential small choices had on the overall picture.
I have worked at Walmart as a manager at store level since 2014.I quickly learned that to be successful at Walmart everything needs to be measured. Every input, every output and waste. Everything that enter and exits the building impacts the overall strategy. Every day I would investigate my numbers and look for the ways to influence the next days numbers. I have always joked that Walmart is a logistics company that just happens to run a store.
After seeing the success of Walmart, I wanted to dive deeper into data analysis. I wanted to see what lies ahead for the industry and what cutting edge innovations can be brought to the fore front. Steam technology existed in the time of the Greek and Roman empires but they failed to capitalize on it. They never saw the true potential gains. I see data science in a similar way, helping to unveil the hidden truths and potentials.
I love traveling, nature, frisbee golf, and learning about history. Programming languages I use are Python, R, and SQL. I have used Tableau, Big Query, and Excel for data science projects.
